OCI Partners LP is a Delaware limited partnership formed in February 2013 to own and operate OCI Beaumont LLC, an integrated methanol and anhydrous ammonia production facility that is strategically located on the U.S. Gulf Coast near Beaumont, Texas.
On October 9, 2013, OCI Partners LP closed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 17,500,000 common units on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol “OCIP.”
On June 4, 2018, OCI N.V. commenced a tender offer to acquire all of the outstanding publicly held common units representing limited partner interest in OCIP. On July 3, 2018, OCI N.V. purchased all the remaining common units that were not tendered in the offer and remained outstanding (the “Buyout”). Following the completion of the Buyout, OCI N.V. owns all of the economic interests of the OCIP and on July 26, 2018, the common units were delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.
